 Handling various Commodity like Castings, Forging, Machined parts, Sheet Metal parts, Plastic, Rubber

 Initiating enquiry process for approved suppliers with Request for quotation(RFQ)
 Receive detailed quotation form approved sources, initiate the cost estimation & negotiation
 Carryout cost estimation w.r.t.to process & compare supplier process & quote, negotiate for best prices &
finalization, along with lead time for sample submission.
 Release trial Purchase order (TPO) for approved suppliers
 Interact with other support departments for effective timely implementation of the project
 Receiving the sample lot as per lead time & evaluate the supplier’s Performance against product
specifications
 Evaluation of supplier quality & delivery consistency for 3 pilot lot before releasing bulk orders & contract
approval
 Approval for mass production, procurement by releasing purchase contract agreement for approved parts.
 Responsible for inventory control within stated norms and as per business targets.

 To monitor the line losses and premium freight.
 Freight cost reduction by optimizing the Economical Batch Qty, Change in mode of shipment like Air to
Sea, inventory management programmers with suppliers.

 Conducting Cost workshops to generate cost saving ideas & implementation
