Just some fun stuff to share. I want to begin by saying that we are all trapped within a system that promotes life-long learning and long term planning, but can’t function that way due to a budgetary process that suppresses anything past next year. Think about it. We are asking teenagers to decide what they want to do everyday for the next 50 years, but we can’t tell them that Marketing or Entrepreneurship will run next year. Talk about a dichotomy of theory and practice. Because of the stifling nature of this environment, in many cases we can’t see the forest through the trees”. I have a short video to prove my claim.
Assure them we are not all equal.

Again… I have broken the presentation into several pieces. Student Achievement – Class Enrollments – Community Outreach – Internships – Membership Benefits Faculty Effort – Student Recruitment – Promotion and Fundraising – Advisory Board – College Connection (Articulation) Remember this is just my experience. Yours may be different.
YOU MUST PUT THE EFFORT FORWARD. If everyone won’t get on board, then get a few. Remember this affects the entire department.
