3. Nordic Chambers of Commerce Online Network (NCCON) A virtual network on Linkedin for the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in US. The Mission To significantly increase opportunities for members of the Scandinavian chambers of commerce in the US by making it easier, more convenient and more effective for the members to build local relations. The Vision To have more than 2,000 members by end of 2009 and contribute to an increase in Scandinavian and American trade, the acceleration of the members' careers, and an increase in international investments in Scandinavian companies.

5. What is Linkedin? LinkedIn is a web service which facilitates online networking for millions of business professionals. If you do not have a profile already go to www.linkedin.com and set up your professional profile with information such as your education, previous jobs, current job, interests etc. How much information you want to list is up to you. When you have joint LinkedIn you can search for contacts among your business and social circles and link up with them. They will then be listed as your “connections”. The advantage is that you now have access, not only to the information of your own connections, but also to that of your connections’ connections. To protect everyone from being contacted involuntarily by random people, it is only possible to contact your own connections directly, but it is possible to request an introduction via your shared contacts and get in touch with others that way.
