4. Clawson Communications Clawson Communications, Inc. Your Indiana communications contractor Clawson Communications, Inc. is a family owned business located in Greenwood, IN. It was incorporated on July 1, 1984. Our company focuses on providing our customers with complete communications solutions. We have the knowledge and capability to install voice cabling, data cabling, fiber optics, riser cabling, outside plant cabling, CATV, paging systems, telephone systems and voice mail. We provide these services in several environments including hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, factories, schools, manufacturing facilities and government offices. Our staff currently numbers approximately 60 employees, including an Architect, 2 RCDD 's, a CAD specialist, and over 40 BICSI trained installers.
5. Clawson Communications (Continued) Clawson Communications, Inc. implemented Novell ® Teaming as a one-stop portal to organize awarded construction projects. By creating a workspace for each project, we have the ability to keep construction notes, quotes, tasks and any other documentation in a centrally located repository, enabling our project managers to quickly and easily locate project documentation. As a "paperless" office, we are able to import scanned documents to attach to a workspace file folder, we also import awarded contracts, change requests, and any other documentation pertinent to a project. Because Novell Teaming is a web-based application, our employees can obtain project documentation virtually anywhere, as well as the ability to make notations, create and close out new tasks/milestones, create checklists, and effectively communicate with members of their team.
6. Clawson Communications (Continued) The personal workspace is a convenient function of Novell ® Teaming as well. I have taken the task of inputting notes pertaining to our server configurations, any troubleshooting tips, or general notes in my personal blog. While having the ability to bookmark TID's on the Novell support site is nice, I can paste the TID into my personal blog, and keep other support documents for products for other vendors. This allows me to have my own personal "database" of information at my fingertips that covers any issues I have encountered in our office. Novell Teaming has been a great addition to our family of Novell products. By centralizing data, that may otherwise be located across different server volumes, we not have a professional solution to enhance the way we do business.
