2. The school playground
In the school playground there are monkey bars and climbing bars.
There are the Little ones swings and the bigger swings. There is also a
roundabout and the elephant and horse and motor bike. Then there is
the bumble bee netball shoot and the slide on the hill and a see saw
and the play rocket and the flying fox.
3. School building and location
• Evie school is about 15 miles from Kirkwall
and about 16 miles from Stromness.
• There are 65 pupils in Evie school including
the nursery.
4. The classes in the school
• There is a nursery with 15 children.
• The p1/2 are in the same classroom and there
is 17 children
• The p3/4/5 are in the same classroom there
are 20 pupils
• The P6/7 are in the same classroom and there
are 13 pupils
5. hall
In the hall we do P.E/active time and the tables get put out and we have
lunch in the dinner hall. We get our lunch from Jackie the cook.
6. ART
The school art teacher is Mrs Thomson.
In art we are building sculptures of people
doing poses.
7. music
• The music teacher is Mr Miller.
• In music we have been playing instruments.
• We have been playing a beat that we have to
try and keep in time.
