2. As the first thing to be taken into account, I
should confess that, through the years which
I’ve been studying at university, there have been
a handful numbers of useful and up to date
courses and knowledgeable professors.
Surprisingly, the “Computer Assisted Language
Learning” is such a course, with a lots of new
material every session.
3. This PowerPoint task seeks to consider my very
own attitude about blogging and microblogging
and their potential role in learning and teaching.
To be honest, I have never think of a blog, or
the way it works, but today’s session grabs my
attention about the subject.
As blogging is all about writing and text
entries(posts), it would be beneficial for teachers
and students.
4. At the contrary with the traditional style of
learning – teacher centered-, blogs offer a
variety of benefits for education.
Fist of all, It helps students become autonomous
by being a better readers and writers. I myself as
a student, when read a passage at home, I could
be more concentrated and independent. There
is no mentor or teacher at home to ask every
single vague question, so I tend to search and
find my question.
5. Secondly, when teaching and learning happen
through blogs, it encourages students to get
along with the internet and technology, as well
as teachers.
By microblogging, teachers provide a
opportunity for the students to share only
essential information by using the character
limitation. To do so, students learn how to be
precise and learning shift to learning-centered
form teacher-centered.
6. In the light of the pandemic, world has become
more and more aware of the importance of the
technology, so do I. As a result, today is the best
start to get familiar with concepts such as blogs
and microblogs.
