2. What exactly the common cold is… The common cold is a viral infectious disease, and spreads very easily. Symptoms commonly include sore throat and nasal congestion, but they can sometimes become quiet serious. There is no cure. One must wait until it has run it’s course.
3. More information… The average person has about 2-3 infections of the cold per year. There are hundreds of different types of the common cold, which has added to the difficulty of finding a cure.
4. Why I think it should be cured Although the common cold is not a life threatening disease, having it can still be a nuisance. It makes it difficult to focus on tasks, and it also makes people avoid you as if you had the plague. With all the troubles one goes through in life, having a cure for the cold would at least make things more bearable.
