2. Aquaculture - Problem
AQUACULTURE
THE ACCUMULATION OF ORGANIC MATERIAL
IN FISH FARMING IS TYPICALLY A RESULT OF
ACCUMULATED FAECAL MATERIAL AND
UNEATEN FEED. AS THE DENSITY OF THE
FISH INCREASE, THE AMOUNT OF FEED
BEING FED INCREASES WITH CONSEQUENT
INCREASES IN FAECAL MATERIAL AND
EXCESS FEED.

3. Aquaculture – Solution
AQUACULTURE
Natural Fish Feed
Nualgi provides the best environment for fish to grow, gain
the greatest impact from using Nualgi Aquaculture:
Nualgi has 10 secondary and micronutrients
loaded on a Nano Silica base
These trigger growth of diatoms in water
bodies
The diatom algal bloom triggers a large
population of Zooplankton
Zooplankton are live food for fish to consume

4. Aquaculture – Solution
AQUACULTURE
Clean Water
Nualgi causes diatom bloom
Diatoms absorb Co2 and release Oxygen
aquaculture
Higher Oxygen levels in water enable
aerobic bacteria to grow
aquaculture
Aerobic bacteria breakdown organic material
released by fish farming
Resulting in cleaner water where aquatic life
flourish
Less food for blue green algae – clean water
Cleaner & less stressful rearing environment
is the best environment for fish to grow

Nualgi Aquaculture improves fish productivity; increases healthy fish and cleans water in
an environmentally sustainable production. In aquariums, fresh water or marine, hatchery,
nursery or growout, fish or shellfish, it is essential to control the water quality.
Fish kills in ponds, lakes etc are due to a decrease in oxygen level. Minimum O2 level
required is 5 ppm, below this level water becomes unfit for aquatic life forms. However,
adding Nualgi, this situation can be reversed within a week, increasing dissolved oxygen
for aquatic life to flourish.
Commercial farming generally releases untreated waste water including large amounts of
fish excrement which can harm the natural environment around the farm sites. Nualgi
tackles the problem of excess feed and faecal matter; breaking down organic matter,
utilizing CO2 and converting it to Oxygen.

6. Technology Benefits
AQUACULTURE
Degrades Organic Material - Tackles the problem of
excess feed and faecal matter; breaking down organic
matter
Improved Feed Conversion - Healthier fish waste less
feed and use the feed they consume more efficiently
Excellent Cost Benefit - Cost benefits in recent trial were
better than 10:1
Ease of Use - No messy powders to handle. Add Nualgi in
liquid form directly to the water
Potent – Application is direct and begins to work immediately
Better water Quality – reduced water exchange
Healthier fish – avoid usage of antibiotics and chemicals to
treat water
Increased fish productivity – lower costs and better profits
