The PhD is a contribution on the debate on validity of fiscal stimulus package where fiscal space is limited. It presents the case of Egypt as a representative to many of the cases in similar countries which have limited fiscal space. The PhD is based on using VAR Methodology and Impulse Response Functions to represent the intra-dynamic relationship between Fiscal stimulus measures and GDP growth. The PhD finds out that most effective stimulus measures well-matched with Egypt’s economic structure are mainly represented in measures stimulating production and supply side.
