The Challenge:
Jafrum’s growth has come through their eCommerce site, jafrum.com, as well as
eBay and Amazon. This phenomenal growth has created increased volume for their
NetSuite warehouse, putting the following pressures on the operations team:
With more orders and multiple order types and channels, it took 2 hours per
day to print pick tickets and organize them by type and channel.
The 2 hour planning and allocation time resulted in less optimized use of
the fulfillment staff, pushed processing later in the day.
The pick process was based on separate pick documents and shipping la-
bels, which required more manual processing, matching, and sometimes
fulfillment errors.
The Solution:
Jafrum implemented OzLINK as an extension to their NetSuite warehouse. OzLINK
automates the order planning and optimization automatically so that when the ware-
house staff arrives in the morning, the orders are organized and available in the
right picking categories. The categories are organized by priority orders, high dollar
orders, channel, etc. They also consolidated the pick/pack/ship process with an in-
