The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc
(PAARL), is pleased to invite you to its 1st Marina G. Dayrit Lecture Series
2014 with the topic “InfoSMART: Information Skills for Creatives”. This
professional activity will be held on February 28, 2014, 1:00-4:00 pm at The
Learning Commons, De La Salle University, Taft Ave., Manila.
Forum theme will specifically evolve on the following objectives:
1. To develop awareness among librarians and information
professionals on the importance of information literacy as a vital
component of lifelong learning;
2. To recognize practical applications of InfoSMART; and
3. To identify strategies of developing essential skills of finding and
using the right information in pursuit of academic and research
excellence.
Registration will start at 12 noon with a registration fee of Php300 for
members, Php350 for non-members and Php200 for students to cover the
snack and certificates. For reservation and details, please contact the
undersigned or any of the Association’s officers and directors.
With your renewal and application of membership (fees: Php200, individual;
