PMBOK® in a nutshell • Processes - are activities conducted by project manager to manage various aspects of project • Process Groups - a way of grouping processes specific to each logical phase of a project, such as Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing. • Knowledge Areas - a way of grouping these same processes based on the knowledge required to carry them out, such as Cost management, Human Resources management, and Communications management.
