I am the lead financial modeller at Hitachi Rail Europe’s Commercial team and am
responsible for putting together the financial offer on all of HRE’s rolling stock and
maintenance bids, including the successful ScotRail and West of England bids. Involvement
in various aspects of the rail industry - from passenger demand and revenue forecasting to
pricing rolling stock and train maintenance, has given me in-depth knowledge of the
industry. A transport modelling background gives me a better understanding of wider
economic issues, in turn enabling better financial decisions.
With excellent communication skills, I regularly help inform decision making through
analysis and presentations of bid financials.
My easy going and friendly nature facilitates effective working across departments to
achieve results even within challenging timescales.

complex spreadsheet based crowding and appraisal models.
