1. NAZI RESISTANCE In 1939, Adolf Hitler began the second world war. Although his power was great, and he was acclaimed by a lot, some people were against them, and started a resistance, such as: The Swing Movement The Edelweiss Pirates Jew/ Anti-Nazi Resistance

2. The Swing Movement Members of this group were principally middle-class teenagers. They enjoyed listening to American and English music and had a free opinion towards sex. They didn’t accept Hitler’s ideas and accepted Jews and woman into their group.

3. The Edelweiss Pirates These were working-class teenagers. The Hitler’s youth had more violent reactions than the Swing Movement, pirates enjoyed beating members of the Hitler's youth and mocking them. Although they were a bother to Nazi members, these weren't authorized to hurt the pirates, because they would be soldiers in the future.

4. Jewish Resistance Many Jews escaped from German territory before the killing started. The ones that stayed had to hide or smuggle to other countries. There were two important movements: -Gad Beck who led the Jewish Resistance -Oskar Schindler who saved and protected Jews by putting them on their work list, made them invulnerable to Nazis.
