How to lose weight – 3 small changes for big results
1. How To Lose Weight – 3 Small Changes For Big Results
Losing weight can be long and boring if you are using exercise and bland nutritional
strategies alone. One of the best ways to lose weight easily and keep it off in the
long‐run are making small changes to your daily habits that will have an impact on
your overall metabolism and weight loss.
Here are three small changes you can make every single day that will help you lose
weight and keep it off long‐term:
1. Eat breakfast
This doesn’t mean a big eggs, toast, and bacon type of meal. Simplicity is best in
eating breakfast, however it is important to get a breakfast meal in daily because is
helps stimulate the metabolism which over a week’s time can results in burning up
to half a pound of fat. Breakfast has been shown to lower hunger throughout the
day, help you make better food choices, and overall help you eat 200‐400 less
calories per day.
2. Eat snacks
Snacking is a great tool in your weight loss journey. Between meals the body’s
metabolism tends to slow down significantly when it runs out of fuel. Having small
snacks on hand such as nuts, fruit, or whole grain crackers with peanut butter can
keep your metabolism firing all day long and thus help speed up weight loss.
3. Sit up straight
Probably the easiest of all the small changes, sitting up straight will help you engage
your core abdominal and lower‐back muscles, which will help build, tone, and
strengthen these muscles. This creates an environment that stimulates the
metabolism and helps you burn more calories throughout the day. Sit up straight all
day long and watch your midsection shrink in no time at all.
The key to getting results and keeping them lies in making small but easily
sustainable changes to your daily habits.
