• Examine the Raw Bill of Material to ensure that pertinent information and data is included
• Review of BOM which is in production and make sure with the vendor for availability and Lead time
• Finding the orderable part number, manufacturer name, component disc, packaging information
• Finding alternates for obsolete parts with matching FFF from Approved Manufacturer List
• Identify, select and perform qualification of new components based on key technical parameters, cost,
availability, and EOL and make recommendations to design team
