8. Relation of 4 principles of
governance to MBS
The 4 principles of governance are all
related to Marina Bay Sands in a certain
way.
This can be in terms of
foresight, boosting the economy and
providing more employment for the
people.
.
9. Leadership is key
In the development of MBS, capable leaders
of the government were needed to form a
good relationship with Las Vegas Sands in
order to work together to develop MBS, it
can be concluded that these driven and far-
sighted leaders of the government played a
crucial role in ensuring that MBS was
developed without loopholes and
mistakes, thus enriching Singapore, without
them, there would be no MBS.
10. Work for reward and reward for
work
The development of MBS would provide the
people with a place for leisure, enjoyment
and a break off from work, thus in a sense
rewarding the people and encouraging them
to work harder for Singapore and make it a
better place, MBS is also considered is the
reward for the many people that are involved
in its development.
11. A stake for everyone, opportunities
for all
The development of the MBS gives everyone
a chance to be a part of its development and
prosperity, it also provides employment for
the people and at the same time
entertainment. Therefore is was a far-
sighted move by the government to not only
provide jobs and opportunities for all but to
also boost Singapore's economy by
attracting tourists to the MBS.
12. Anticipating change and staying
relevant
The government had anticipated change and
stayed relevant by developing MBS which would not
only boost Singapore’s economy but would also drive
Singapore to complete globally with other bigger
countries such as America in terms of the tourism
industry. The government also anticipated change
by predicting that if they did not do something to
boost Singapore's economy, Singapore might face
problems in the future and might even have another
recession which Singapore could not afford.
