2. Original Ideas:
-We first sketched out a few ideas on a A4 paper. Then we
decided to put our ideas on google sketchup.Later on, we found it
very difficult to use.So one of our group members(Nicholas)
finalised the design and drawed it out .Then we started making
the enclosure.
3. Freedom to express normal behaviour
We gave them all the things that they have in their natural habitat
so they can behave freely and still keep their natural instincts. We
also created this jungle to make it more like their original home.
4. Freedom From Hunger And Thirst
● The freedom from hunger is showed by the fresh running water
and they can put small amounts of food in the log which is on
the floor. We did this because it makes it more like
the wild and keeps their natural behavior and instincts.
5. Freedom from discomfort
● The orangutans have trees that they can climb and there is a
small cave opening where the orangutans can sit and there is
many things to do in the enclosure.
6. Freedom from Pain, injury or distress.
We created a small cave for shelter and we purposely have more
than one orangutan in the enclosure to have company and not to
have discomfort.
