Trade is the flow of goods and services between people. Trade is essential because there is an uneven distribution of raw materials on the earth’s surface and no country has enough raw materials or manufactured goods to support its population. MEDCs and LEDCs are therefore interdependent as MEDCs rely on raw materials from LEDCs and LEDCs rely on buying manufactured goods such as machinery and technology from MEDCs. The rich north have 75% of the world’s export income whilst the poor south has only 25%. 9. Rub and Reveal!! - creating clozed exercises
10. Image Transparency
Using Transparency Features to help Students make links and Visualise Transparent Overlayss
TEACHING & LEARNING - ICT IN PRACTICE Unlocking the Potential of the IWB! HOMEWORK!- THE WHITEBOARD CHALLENGE 1. Choose any 3 (more if you like!) of tips, tricks or activities that you have been shown from any part of the presentation (i.e. using the SMART board tools or creating resources) and have a go at integrating them into at least 3 of your lessons over the next 5 / 6 weeks. (try one or two just as starters or plenaries - and at least one needs to involve using several ideas throughout the lesson!) - FEEDBACK TO BE GIVEN! 2. Explore the SMART Learning Toolkit (download if you need it!) 3. Look at the blog (check regularly - weekly updates!) EM AIL IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANY HELP! [email_address]
