21. Work-based Learning (WBL):
Work-based learning provide students with the
opportunities to develop employability skills necessary
to succeed in the workforce. Students have the
opportunity to cross train in the following positions:
•Catering: (Food Prep, Support Staff, Menu Planning,

•Front of the House: Server, Busser, Host-person, Dining

Building Your Portfolio while in this program will give you the edge you need to
succeed in job interviews, apply for scholarships, apply for college or higher
education programs. Building a portfolio also assists in analyzing your strengths and
skills, researching career options, and providing direction. You will leave the
program with a professional portfolio containing:
