Current Role & Responsibilities:
HR- Generalist/Operations supporting a team of approx. 3000 employees for IT
Services business for horizontal/verticals across geographies within and outside India
Working actively with the Talent Acquisition team for co-ordination of the Joining
Formalites (Onboarding)/Orientation/Induction of the expected hires (both campus
and laterals). Bringing the joinees onboard on Day1 and ensuring their smooth onboarding
till the time they hit the floor
Managing Background Verification Process (BGV) of the employees via external vendor.
Ensuring that the relevant forms are filled in by the employees and submitting the same to
the vendor for initiation of the verification process. On receipt of the report, if the
verification is not clear/or if the report is not Green then handling the Consequence
Management part of the BGV with the help of Business Managers and the Human
Resource Generalists/Talent Acquisition Team for appropriate closure of the case
Handling end to end Onsite Deputation Process (ODP) of the employees along with
providing cross cultural sensitization training to the employees expected to travel across
geographies
Managing Offshore Transfers/Deputation Processes of the employees travelling from
one site to another within the organization within India

2. Handling Exit Process/ Formalities of the employees operating within and outside India
based out of Noida site. Handling/Issuing standard letters to the employees related to
Showcause/Disciplinary/Absconding and Termination letters as per the company standards
Managing the Training Program along with the Global Talent Management Team in terms
of arranging logistics/material co-ordination for the business/managers or the target group
as identified by HR in tune with the line managers as per the Training Calendar of the year
Operating as the Payroll Interface for HR and providing input of the employees on all
settlements related to absconding/termination/joining/exit
Managing Record Keeping Process of the employees (maintaining both the hard and
the Soft copies of the records) and complete vendor management on this process
Handling the Noida compliance and operations Audit
Talent Acquisition (Aug 07 – Jan 09):
Co-ordination Pre-joining formalities for the expected hires once the offer has been made by
the recruitment team
Managing on boarding activities of all the new hires (Facilitation, Document Sufficiency
Process & other joining formalities)
Handling Induction/New Hire Orientation of the new joinees
Drive Employee referral program amongst employees to ensure consistent contribution
from alternate channels in shared services model
