10. Financial Support Broadway Bound provides tuition scholarships for teens with demonstrated financial need. 13. Reaching Teens “Personally speaking the show made me a stronger person. I have been told I was never going to be anything special. Broadway Bound gave me the confidence I needed and the motivation. I have not been in a musical until ‘Dreamgirls.’ We gained so much respect from other students and even adults. We are working to bring even more music and theater to our neighborhood.” -- Shaniqua B.
14. Reaching Teens “Broadway Bound taught me how to not feel like I need to lash out at people and to feel welcomed and a part of something that I can be proud of. They taught me how to have courage and self-esteem and not to care about what other people thought of me. I would recommend any and everyone to join the program. A lot of good things will come out of it.” -- Tokara T.

Summer 2010 Teen Summer Stock GOD LIVES IN GLASS In 1971, two musicals, rooted in stories from the Bible, debuted in New York City and took the theatrical landscape by storm – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Stephen Schwartz’ GODSPELL. Now, thirty years later, a new musical, based on the writings and drawings of children from around the world, stands ready to bring its uplifting spiritual message to the stage. GOD LIVES IN GLASS is the premiere of an original musical that reaches across cultural and religious boundaries to promote unity, acceptance of diversity and connecting with the world around us. The musical is based on books by Dr. Robert J. Landy, head of the Drama Therapy program at New York University, who interviewed over five hundred children from different cultures, races and religions. The insights of these young spiritual thinkers are funny, moving, entertaining and enlightening. Their visions were set to music by Broadway and Las Vegas conductor/composer Keith Thompson.
