VICE PRESIDENT, SUB ADVISORY SERVICES
Ralph Mejias is responsible for Sub Advisory Services in the Western United States. This includes
partnering with the firm’s insurance partners to drive sales in their retirement products and
supporting national business development efforts at AllianceBernstein. Ralph brings over 17 years
of expertise in product marketing, business development and relationship management to his
current role.
Most recently, Ralph was the Director of Investment Marketing within MetLife’s U.S. Retirement
Products business. There he was responsible for presenting the products’ investment solution sets
to national audiences, key firm gatekeepers, partner firm sales desks as well as supporting sales
efforts in the field. His responsibilities also included the development and execution of MetLife’s
investment marketing strategy and managing strategic relationships with over 30 different
investment management firms.
Prior to MetLife, Ralph was the Field Director for Investment Marketing in Pacific Life's Annuity and
Mutual Fund Division where he utilized his broad and extensive industry knowledge and expert sales
skills to conceptualize and execute an impactful investment training program to the variable annuity
and mutual fund sales force. Earlier in his career, he was the Director of Client Services and
Business Development for Robert Bender and Associates, a boutique separately managed account
(SMA) Registered Investment Advisor. Ralph has also held positions as a Financial Advisor at Merrill
Lynch and the Sponsor Firm Relationship Manager at Roxbury Capital Management, LLC.
Ralph has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. He currently
resides in Orange County, CA.
