2. Class 4 is going for a walk in the center of Turenki.
3. Kicksledge is Antero’s favourite vehicle this winter! The boys from class 4 took Antero for a ride in Turenki…and they seem to end up into the snow.
8. This is the library/sports hall right next to our school. Antero’s school mates hang around there often after school. There are lots of things to do there.
9. Our town centre is quite small. There are only a few supermarkets and shops there. And hardly any monuments…but Antero found one!! A statue of a dog behind the local bank.

11. And this is the church of Saint Lawrence which is about six kilometres from our school. The oldest part of the medieval church is from the end of the 15th century.

14. Häme Castle in Hämeenlinna Häme Castle is one of Finland’s medieval royal castles. It is believed to have been built at the end of the 13th century, following the crusade by Swedish Earl Birger to Häme region. The Häme Castle and its redbrick barracks are on the shore of Lake Vanajavesi.
15. All the birds don’t fly away. Antero found a flog of waxwings.
