The Position
The role of Chief Financial officer Finance has come about as part of a corporate re-organisation as the company moves from a local to an International structure.
Based in Pakistan, it will report directly to the President of Hospitality .
The successful candidate will:
Provide strategic and technical financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the division.
Act as a strategic partner to the divisional team to evaluate/advise on impact on long-range planning, introduction of new programs, strategies, solutions and regulatory
action.
Direct the fiscal function of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and other regulatory and advisory organizations.
Meet regularly with function heads to stay informed and offer guidance and direction on financial issues impacting their budgets.
Provide oversight and direction to Finance function (including pre-opening services)
Become a key performance management partner who adds real value to property asset management
Key Responsibilities include:
Provision of business supports to the hotels
Preparation and management of the budget and oversight/approval of hotel budgets (operational, forecasting, capital, EAPs, etc.)
Oversight of HMA compliance including incentive hurdles
Talent acquisition/management of hotel and regional finance teams
Oversight on hotels’ compliance to corporate policies and procedures
Oversight and management of the procurement function
Previous Experience
Will understand the challenges and nuances of the region
Show capability in asset management
Ideally exposed to development deals and have experience of renovation projects
Evidence sound commercial thinking
Excellent analytical mind, fact-driven decision making, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent inter-personal and relationship skills
Proven track record of success as a leader of Finance team with multi-unit complexity
University degree in business/finance with advanced degree as a plus
