The document describes two end-user stories for the new eZ Publish interface: 1) A user finds content through search and filtering search results, and 2) The user creates a gallery from the search results and uploads multiple images to the gallery in a more intuitive workflow requiring fewer clicks. Key changes to the interface include search located on the left sidebar, infinite scroll for search results, option to save searches as filters, and ability to directly create sub-items like images for a gallery without additional clicks when creating the gallery object.

on eZ Publish 5
UX & UI concepts
First phase of six end-to-end user stories
to lay the foundations of the new interface.
2. Create a container
& sub-items via Search
1
2. As a user, I will...
...find an object through search and filtering search results
... create a gallery content under the object I searched for,
and create Images to populate my gallery
Intention
• showcase new, faster and easier way to discover content through a search widget.
(will be reused at many places)
• show the new interaction to create and manage a container and its sub-items, which is
more intuitive and requires less clicks
We will show
• discover article with search
• create Gallery (container) as a child
• use multiupload to put in images

Filters are similar to facets,
and allow to drill down through the results.
Of coulse, all this will be dynamic,
without page reload.
I will first restrict my search to a
specific location (aka subtree)
