Role with the Company

Oversee two new product lines for the company with emphasis on branding, product
promotion, new product launches, category management, customer relationship
management and digital message management.
      Develop strategies to drive category growth in multiple foodservice channels
      including multi-unit, independent, K-12, college/university, healthcare, military
      and vending
      Recommend and develop brand campaigns and promotions across channels to
      drive growth with core customer base
      Interact with R&D and Quality Assurance regarding product or packaging
      changes and their effects on existing quality and consumer marketing strategies
      (develop consumer and customer insights as related to category)
      Provide Sales support by developing and delivering customer-specific
      presentations with innovative new solutions to assist the customer in growing
      their business
      Develop custom POS for specific multi-unit core customers and distributors
      Oversee web site content, recipes, product pages, and actively manage core
      product social media initiatives

Background Profile
      Experience with food manufacturer in foodservice marketing role
      MBA preferred
      Experience interacting customers and working with field sales teams
      Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
      Ability to travel (up to 20%), domestically
Whey Business Analyst
Division:              Finance

Reports to:            Director of Financial Analysis

Job Summary
Responsible for the accounting and management support of the Whey Division. Reports
to the Director of Analysis and directly supports the General Manager of Whey.

Competencies
     Annually lead in the development of the Whey Operating budgets to include sales
     by customer and product, plant yields by product, direct material cost budgets by
     plant, and overhead cost budgeting as needed.
     Quarterly analysis of product performance to determine product profitability, and
     also customer profitability.
     Monthly analysis and validation of the milk margin as reported on the financials,
     sales variances analysis, down grade production analysis, plant yield analysis, and
     direct material usage analysis.
     Weekly preparation and presentation to the Whey Management team a weekly
     financial snap shot to include an overview of plant yield performance, sales
     variances, and milk margin trends.

Training Competencies

Safety
         Annual completion of OSHA Regulatory training.
         Completion of all required HCC safety training.

Leadership
     Must be able to communicate with management in a simple convincing manner.
     Works together with all departments in order to achieve the common goals of the
     company.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:
     Must be proficient with Excel and or other database analysis application tools.
     Experience with the use analysis tools, and or data modeling tools to assist in
     management decision making will be important.

Qualifications: Education & Work Experience
       BS/BA in Business Admin, systems, mathematics, manufacturing, or related field.
       Masters (MBA) desirable but not required.
       Dairy industry experience is desirable but not required.
       Actual work experience should include business and breakeven analysis, profit
       modeling, analysis of cost and plant yield and written reports to management.
Distribution Manager
Department:               Distribution Center

Reports To:               Director of Distribution
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
 Direct, lead and execute all daily aspects of the Distribution Center operation that are consistent with
    world class business.
 Implement and maintain best-in-class service levels (internal response, 100% order accuracy rates,
    100% on-time order shipping, and inventory management & accuracy objectives) consistent with
    business needs and future requirements while leading day-to-day activities to achieve strategic
    objectives.
 Continually improve team's organization effectiveness and value while providing monthly input and
    recommendations for process improvement.
 Deploy continuous effort to improve distribution operations, reduce distribution costs, streamline work
    processes, and work collaboratively to provide quality seamless service to customers.
 Proactively seek out and recommend new and innovative distribution strategies to promote best-in-
    class' practices.
 Establish work schedules, ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that tasks are
    assigned effectively, and completed properly by delegating responsibilities and holding individuals
    accountable for performance expectations.
 Ensure all OSHA, GMP, and regulatory provisions are in compliance and manage Safety training
    programs and practices.
 Maximize automated systems and be a resource for systems related issues/questions.
 Maintain effective communication with customer service, purchasing, quality and related
    manufacturing functions to provide a leadership role in maximizing customer service.
 Facilitates effective and timely communication to associates by being accessible, responsive, and
    resolving issues in a timely manner.
 Recruit, train and develop leaders and associates and recognize individual and team successes.


QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

   Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Management, Logistics or related field or
   equivalent experience
   7+ years experience in leading 100,000+ sq. ft. high volume DC operations and 30+ Full Time
   Employees
   In depth knowledge of distribution and warehouse functions, work group dynamics,
   measurement systems (metrics), and continuous process improvement techniques.
   Excellent people management skills, including conflict resolution, coaching and developing
   others, promoting teamwork and performance management.
   Strong decision making skills and the ability to link business objectives to business activities.
   Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of urgency.
   Flexibility to work variable shifts and the hours necessary to meet the ever-changing business
   requirements.
Hands on experience with developing, implementing, and managing distribution center
   operations.
   Must have extensive experience utilizing ERP/WMS/ Ship systems to maximize automated
   systems and must be able to be a resource for systems related issues/questions.
   Ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment; ability to lead
   through personal example that communicates integrity, core values, and consistency in
   decision-making.
   Ability to implement site standards and best practices to include policies, procedures, and
   workflow development.
   Ability to work effectively in a fast paced multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple
   projects/priorities to meet specific


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university and seven years of demonstrated
leadership success in a fast pace, high volume distribution center environment. Systems
(WMS/Pick and Put way systems, TMS) knowledge is essential. TQM, Six Sigma, and APICS
certifications/experience are desired.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as variance and factor analysis. Perform
simple daily calculations and quotients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or

Supervises    All areas of plant operation. Direct reports are Processing and Sanitation
              Leader and Maintenance Leader.
Purpose and   Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a liquid egg processing
Scope         facility, including the development of short- term strategies and execution of
              all agreed upon plans. Fully responsible for all food safety issues. Create an
              atmosphere that encourages open communication and accountability. Be a
              visible leader in the area of food processing management; Safe, Quality Food
              (SQF); staffing; training; employee safety and employee relations.
Essential              Provide general oversight of all liquid egg processing operations.
Functions              Assist the president and other local management, with the
                       development, formulation and execution of short and long-term
                       strategies, operating budgets, policies, programs, operating procedures
                       and objectives.
                       Develop weekly labor schedules to ensure coverage across all shifts
                       and proper coordination and integration of work flow with egg
                       production operations.
                       Track product yield, labor efficiency and budgetary conformance.
                       Track operation and performance of facilities, machines and equipment
                       and implement controls that minimize cost while optimizing
                       performance.
                       Employ root cause analysis to identify processing related problems and
                       implement corrective action as required.
                       Develop systems and processes that result in continuous improvement
                       of processing operations.
                       Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all operating areas:
                           o Product yield
                           o Product quality
                           o Product Safety
                           o Employee Safety
                           o Labor expenses and efficiencies
                           o Machine downtime
                           o Waste water flow
                           o Customer satisfaction
                           o Employee satisfaction
                           o Any other significant, measurable objective
                       Report status of KPIs to the president on a regular basis.
                       Provide monthly analysis of operating costs.
                       Produce quarterly reviews highlighting the following:
                           o Opportunities for improvement
                           o Budget non-conformances
Ensure adherence to USDA FSIS requirements
               Ensure adherence to HACCP andSafe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
               Assist in the implementation of quality systems and processes that
               support SQF standards.
               Work closely with quality technicians to assess and eliminate threats to
               food safety.
               Coordinate and direct major projects (such as expansions of facilities,
               acquisition and installation of capital equipment, major repairs and
               overhauls, facility layout changes) in a manner that meets required
               timeframes, budgets and quality requirements.
               Supervise processing plant staff.
                   o Establish clear, measurable objectives
                   o Use weekly meetings, observation and personal contact to
                       assess staff performance
                   o Optimize employee knowledge and skill sets to create a high
                       performing team
               Determine staffing requirements based on forecasts and business plans.
                   o Ensure that staffing levels are optimized to meet business
                       objectives and drive labor efficiencies
                   o Ensure effective selection of employees to drive a highly
                       engaged, high performing work team
               Provide developmental opportunities for staff to ensure the growth and
               retention of key skill sets for succession and replacement planning
               purposes.
                   o Provide training and educational opportunities
                   o Provide feedback and coaching
                   o Provide stretch opportunities for high potential employees
               Lead by example:
                   o Project a positive image to peers and subordinates; to the
                       customers we serve; to the industry in which we participate and

               Ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws, regulations

Qualificatio   Education

                   o Strong preference for experience in an egg processing

    o Knowledge of management systems in a food processing
        environment
