Job Summary
Responsible for the accounting and management support of the Whey Division. Reports
to the Director of Analysis and directly supports the General Manager of Whey.
Competencies
Annually lead in the development of the Whey Operating budgets to include sales
by customer and product, plant yields by product, direct material cost budgets by
plant, and overhead cost budgeting as needed.
Quarterly analysis of product performance to determine product profitability, and
also customer profitability.
Monthly analysis and validation of the milk margin as reported on the financials,
sales variances analysis, down grade production analysis, plant yield analysis, and
direct material usage analysis.
Weekly preparation and presentation to the Whey Management team a weekly
financial snap shot to include an overview of plant yield performance, sales
variances, and milk margin trends.
Training Competencies

Annual completion of OSHA Regulatory training.

Essential Provide general oversight of all liquid egg processing operations.
Functions Assist the president and other local management, with the
development, formulation and execution of short and long-term
strategies, operating budgets, policies, programs, operating procedures
and objectives.
Develop weekly labor schedules to ensure coverage across all shifts
and proper coordination and integration of work flow with egg
production operations.
Track product yield, labor efficiency and budgetary conformance.
