1. Death of the Trainer – A Paper on Cloud Learning
The Solution
1.Breaking barriers through virtualization not only
reduces cost, but it also reduces constraints, and
that is what matters the most in today’s business
scenario.
2.We are continually finding ways to overcome the
constraints related to time and space.
3.It will not be long before we can anticipate the end
of classroom training.

Step 1 Analysis Doing Training needs analysis via forums, social networking etc.
Step 2 Design Virtual Developer-SME Collaboration
Step 3 Development So how would we train such people, who Real-time Authoring,
Review, Approval, and Content Management using SaaS (Software
as a Service) and Cloud Storage using IaaS (Infrastructure as a
Service)
Step 4 Implementation Deployment and Delivery via internet (elearning, ‘Open’ Courses,
Video Lectures), Smart Devices(mlearning), Virtual Classrooms (like
SmartCloud Sessions) Tracking via Cloud LMS (Learning
Management System), MOOC Platforms
Step 5 Evaluation Feedback over Discussion Forums, Social Networking Sites,
Community Pages, Blogs etc
So how would we train such people, who have little time or interest in the classical form of training? Yet they need to
be aware and enlightened at all times. The answer is Cloud. These users will need to be trained via cloud, and the
technology should be so seamless that from authoring to deployment – everything should be virtualized, in real real
time. From a broader perspective, this can be done with a five-step methodology that can also be directly mapped to
the ADDIE Model of Instructional Design:
The Challenge
1.Training the new-age workforce on new technologies
will be a new challenge.
2.The ‘fast track’ workforce cannot keep their hands off
their smart devices. They want the world to be at their
fingertips.
3.These people are most likely to be key decision-makers
who are on the move and have little or no time for
training (almost always).
