- 3. The Introduction An introduction is a must. It "sets the scene" and engages the audience by motivating them to listen by relating the topic to their interests.
- 4. Body Language Eye contact Use of voice
- 6. DO’s Prepare an audience analysis. section to another. State your main ideas at the beginning. CONCLUSION Start and stop your presentation on time. Do practice your presentation with a partner or in front of the mirror.
- 7. DONT’s Do not try to cover too much material. Do not exceed the time limit . Never read out your presentation – try to speak freely! Support your talk with examples to amplify or clarify your point. Do not speak in a monotone. Do not stand in front of your visual aids.
- 8. CONCLUSION The way you act during a presentation can also affect the audience’s perception of you.
