1. Proposal
For my short film I will be creating a Thriller called The Book. It will be about a young boy
who find a mysterious book in his room but ignores it. The book then begins to follow him for an un-
known reason. The book continues to follow him until the boy meets his end. The short film will last
only a few minutes and will contain two locations (a house and a local park). There will be various
editing effects used when the camera swaps to the book’s point of view and the editing will be fast
paced. Filming will take place over a couple of days to keep the shots consistent and there is editing
continuity.
