This Power Point web quest will be exported into a Promethean
Inspire flipchart or Smart notebook so that it can projected onto
an interactive whiteboard. Once the web quest is projected onto
the whiteboard, students can click on the links, make circles on
the slides, etc.

3. Introduction
Your group is going to make a video of the book There
Is a Bird on Your Head! by Mo Willems. Before you
make your own video, you participate in some activities
that will help you learn more about the author and
illustrator Mo Willems.

4. When you finish this web quest, you will make your own video of
There Is a Bird on Your Head! Mrs. Sanjana will film the video on her
flip camera and you and your family can watch it on the ESL class
website. You will be an actor, even if we can't see your face! When
you pretend you are Piggie or Elephant, you will want to show how
they feel. You and your partner should think about how the
characters in this book feel. Let's start by watching a video with
Mo Willems.

the pictures from the book, but we will hear your
voices reading. Mrs. Sanjana will film you when you
are ready.

Assessment for such activities is based on participation. Every student who reads the part of
Elephant or Piggie for the final project will have successfully completed this web quest.
