Elevator Pitch
1. Introduction
Le pitch sert à faire la promotion d’un projet ou d’une entreprise en un temps limité. Il devrait exister
dès le démarrage du projet et évoluer au fil du temps et des rencontres.
L’idée est d’imaginer qu’un investisseur potentiel doit être convaincu d’investir dans un projet
présenté sur le temps d’une montée d’ascenceur. Il est donc essentiel que le pitch soit clair, concis,
cohérent et crédible.
2. Tool-Box
Le pitch devrait comporter trois parties distinctes :
A. L’accroche
B. Les éléments essentiels : le problème, la solution et ses avantages, l’équipe, le marché et la
concurrence, le business model, les réalisations et références.
C. L’appel à l’action
A. L’accroche
L’accroche est une introduction qui consiste à interpeller votre interlocuteur. Elle a pour but
d’arrêter agréablement le cours de la pensée de votre interlocuteur.
B. Les éléments essentiels
1. Le problème
Présentez le problème auquel vous apportez une solution. Cette présentation peut prendre la forme
d’une histoire ou d’une analogie. Cela vous permettra de rendre le problème concret et évident.
Abordez également les solutions existantes.
2. Votre solution et ses avantages
Présentez votre solution au problème. Cette solution doit paraître évidente. Présentez ce que vous
faites avec des mots communs et faciles à comprendre. Complétez votre discours avec les avantages
qu’offre votre solution par rapport à celles existantes sur le marché. N’hésitez pas à inclure quelques
chiffres percutants.
3. L’équipe
Présentez en quoi l’équipe qui porte le projet est adéquate, et correspond aux compétences
nécessaires.
4. Le marché et la concurrence
Dressez le portrait de votre marché, et présentez votre concurrence directe et indirecte. Montrez
également en quoi vous êtes meilleures.

5. Le business model
Sans rentrer dans les détails, montrez comment votre entreprise va vous permettre de gagner de
l’argent.
6. Les réalisations et références
Expliquez ce que vous avez déjà fait et surtout citez les personnes/entreprises qui vous ont fait
confiance et qui ont été satisfaites de votre prestation/produit.
C. L’appel à l’action
Il s’agit d’un des éléments le plus importants de votre « elevator pitch » puisqu’il s’agit de la
conclusion qui invite votre interlocuteur à poser une action. Elle doit être bien préparée et surtout en
lien logique avec ce qui précède.
3. Check-List
Pour votre prochaine séance de coaching, Solvay Entrepreneurs/Cap Innove vous demande de
construire un brouillon de votre pitch. Pour se faire, voici les étapes de réflexion par lesquelles vous
devez passer :
1. Construisez une accroche, quelque chose qui permettra d’interpeller votre interlocuteur en
maximum 10 secondes
2. Formulez les éléments essentiels de votre projet, de manière à ce que vous puissiez les
présenter en 45-60 secondes
3. Identifiez les différents types d’action que vous pourriez demander en fonction de vos
interlocuteurs (fournisseurs potentiels, clients potentiels, investisseurs potentiels,
partenaires portentiels, etc.). Ce « call-to-action » ne devrait pas dépasser 10 secondes.
4. Avantages et inconvénients de la méthode
Avantages
 Vous êtes prêts dans toute circonstance, à rapidement présenter votre projet.
 Vous prenez le temps de réfléchir aux messages que vous voulez faire passer aux personnes à
qui vous présentez votre projet
Inconvénients
 Risque d’un discours trop rôdé et mécanique
 Risque d’arrêter le pitch, en oubliant de le faire évoluer
