We’ll be talking about how consolidating your monitoring environment can help you improve results and make your job less stressful. We’ll discuss the advantages of adopting consolidation in a phased model that meets your needs.My name is Sarah Meyer, and I will be your moderator for today’s event. I want to begin by going through a few general details about the webinar: Today's presentation will last less than 30 minutes. We’ll have a question and answer period at the end of the event. Joining me for today’s presentation are Peter Howe, Senior Director of Web Marketing at Ipswitch, and Greg Tompkins, Product Management Director at Ipswitch.Peter, it’s all yours.
- PETER: Thanks, Sarah. Does each member of your IT team use a different tool to monitor each part of the infrastructure? Do you work only on your own area, with little insight into the other parts of the IT environment? Does each tool have its own interface, so you can’t see what’s going on in other areas? And do you deal with frustration in tracking down root cause of problems because your tools don’t allow you to easily coordinate efforts and share information? In other words, are you a solo artist? No matter how good the drummer is, songs from a band are a lot richer and better received by audiences than a drum solo.
