April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month - a time to recognize that we each play a part in promoting the social
and emotional well-being of children and families in communities. Learn more here:

Telephone outage - A telephone outage April 9, 4 - 6 p.m., will affect all phone numbers beginning with 871 or 822.
Power Outage - There will be a power outage April 9, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., in Red Maple Court housing area, Youth
Center, Navy Lodge, and Exchange Storage/Liberty Center while two power poles are being replaced. It is anticipated that
Red Maple Court and Navy Lodge (buildings 331 and 463) will experience the outage the ENTIRE block of time. The Youth
Center will be on generator power during this time and will be largely unaffected; building 365 Exchange Storage/Liberty
Center will only be affected for 15 minutes at the beginning and end of the outage. Questions on this outage can be
addressed by calling 228-871-2020.

Command Financial Specialist Training and refresher course - Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) will sponsor
a CFST/Refresher course, April 9 - 12 for E-6 and above. Contact the FFSC at 228-871-3000 to register.

Coastline Community College Summer Registration - Coastline Community College will hold early registration for
their summer term (June 18 - Aug. 11) from April 9 - May 28. For additional information, contact Dr. David Drye in the

Communicating in Your Child’s Love Language Workshop - Come and strengthen your relationship with your child
by learning how to communicate in your child's "love language;" and for the children, there will be FREE childcare for ages
6 and under and an Interactive FOCUS Workshop for ages 7 to 12. This workshop is open to all parents and expecting
parents; and will be offered at the Base Chapel April 11, 6 to 7:30 p.m. A FREE dinner is included. Sign-ups are required.

Holocaust Days of Remembrance Observance - The NCBC Multicultural Diversity Committee cordially invites all base
personnel and family members to an observance of the Holocaust Days of Remembrance. The observance will be held
April 18, 11 a.m. - noon at the Seabee Memorial Chapel Sanctuary. Program will include musical performances from a
Harpist and an Acoustic Guitarist, as well as audiovisual presentations by courtesy of the United States Holocaust

Protestant Services include a Gospel Service at 8 a.m., (except March 31) and Divine Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.
Catholic Services include Catholic Mass at 9:30 a.m. There is also a Catholic Mass Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m.
~ Seabee Pantry – The Seabee Pantry is always in need of donations to restock the food pantry. Donation drop-off sites
are located at the Navy Exchange, Chapel, Commissary, Fleet and Family Support Center and Armed Forces Retirement
Home. Everyone affiliated with NCBC can use the Seabee Pantry. For more information, contact the chapel.
~ Praise and Worship - The Seabee Memorial Chapel is looking for new members for the Praise and Worship Team for

or on lunch. The pool is open Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. If you or the little ones don’t know how to swim,
