2. Inserting Headers
• To insert a Header complete the following steps:
– Click the Insert Tab on the Ribbon then click Header.
– After clicking Header a drop down box will appear.
– From the drop down box choose a header template
(examples include Blank, Blank (Three Columns), and
Alphabet), or Edit Header.
– If a template was chosen, fill in and format the
placeholders as desired or delete the placeholders.
– If “Edit Header” was chosen type and format text as
desired.
– After inserting and formatting all text, click Close
Header and Footer.
