GENERATING POTENTIAL ENERGY?
4. BUT YOU DO EXPEND A LOT OF KINETIC ENERGY EVERY DAY…
DO YOU REALIZE THAT YOU COULD SAVE A LOT OF THAT
ENERGY IF YOUR ORGANIZATION FOCUSED A LITTLE BIT
MORE ON POTENTIAL ENERGY?
5. Does all the work you do
improve the quality of your and
other people’s life around you?
Why do you not feel joy with your work?
Do you get to express the joy of scoring
a basket in a basketball game every
time you deliver something in business?
Are you allowed to score a three pointer
or do you have your own team member
dodge the ball down to the ground
instead of allowing you to shoot?
Has it ever occurred to you that you
would rather play basket ball than work?

7. BOTH JOY & ENJOYMENT ARE CRITICAL FOR INNOVATION TO SUCCEED
IN SOCIETY, ENTERPRISE OR FAMILY…THIS IS CALLED HUMAN CAPITAL
MANAGEMENT. WHAT DOES YOUR ENTERPRISE DO ABOUT IT?
Joy is an individual’s soul expression…
Enjoy is a collective group’s soul expression for a
common purpose with individually distinctive
outcomes…
8. Preparation is Key
For Innovation to succeed, preparation is Key.
This preparation has got very little to do with the
physical. It is more the meta physical or what is in
the mind.
Now, can you point out what part of your body is
the mind …don’t tell me it is your brain or your
heart.
Mind is the confluence of Thought & Action. In an
enterprise, it is the Thought & Action of several
people; sometimes thousands of them that needs
preparation for Innovation to succeed.
You may be a great cook with a great recipe but
you cannot produce a great meal if you don’t have
the right ingredients, right?
A great idea is just the trigger to innovation. Actual
innovation is when the offering you have conjured
is consumed. In a global organization, it takes
thousands of people to commercialize an idea
successfully.
9. THE ENTERPRISE DESIGN RELATIONSHIP: FIRST DESIGN THE
ENTERPRISE FOR RELEVANCE, THEN EVERYTHING FOLLOWS. THE
