2. Welcome back! Duck and Quinn are very happy to have you here!
Seriously, that picture was too much fun not to use. Anyway:
Last time, we saw the quiet toddler years of Quinn and Box, their
birthdays, Ethan being awesome, two cute kids who look kind of
similar despite them being only half-siblings, Quinn showing off (which
happened a lot), various family members suffering from lack of
attention, there was smustling, ghosts haunting, and lots more
showing off and awesome.
Sound familiar? If not, I'd recommend looking back. Before we head
back to the main lot, let's drop by my simself's first...
3. “Vogue, don't let your mother catch you doing that.”
Seriously, I open their lot for the first time in a while, to find Ethan
using his powers of awesome to woo Vogue. Which is odd, because
their gypsy date all those chapters ago didn't turn out so well.
4. “Do you think we freaked out your parents with our awesome love
affair, Vogue?”
5. “I was already so awesome...” Vogue seems a little stunned, “I think
we'd make a super-awesome couple.”
It's weird thinking that if Vogue had won that heir poll, Ethan would be
the father of the third generation, instead of the adopted-grandfather
of the fifth generation.
Sounds complicated. Anyway, that's not why we're here.
6. This is why we're here. We're bringing Star back.
Ethan decided it was the perfect time to leave, “Right, I'm going to get
out of here before you summon the Reaper or zombies, or whatever it
is you're up to.”
“Don't you want to stay for the fun?”
“Can't. My awesome is needed elsewhere.”
7. “Why do I have such a bad feeling about this?”
Seriously, Joe pulled lots of concerned, sad and upset faces during
the morning I spent at his house.
I'm not sure why.
8. “Hello, is this the Grim Reaper's office?”
“I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO ASK HOW YOU GOT MY NUMBER. IS THIS GOING
TO TAKE LONG, BECAUSE I'VE GOT COMPANY.”
“How can the Grim Reaper have company?!”
“WHAT DO YOU WANT?!”
“I want my daughter and my grandbaby back.”
9. “SAM, THEY HAVE BEEN DEAD FOR TWO GENERATIONS, NEARLY THREE.
DON'T YOU THINK IT'S A TAD LATE TO RESURRECT THEM?”
“No, I think it's the perfect time. See, things are starting to gear up for
an ending, and I want no loose strings.”
“UNDERSTANDABLE.”
“So I can have Star and her baby back?”
10. “WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?”
“I don't know, but I'll think of something. Thanks, Grim!”
“WAIT, I NEVER AGREED-”
“Thanks again, Grim!”
Sam hung up before the Reaper could stop things.
11. What an interesting moment in the family history. You have Star, who is
very much happy to be back, and then you've got Joe, who is sobbing.
He's probably worried because his wife now owes the Reaper a favour.
13. We rejoin the main family to find Goopy playing his guitar.
That is HIS guitar – I've never seen anyone else playing it. Which is
odd, but kind of cool.
Sketch appreciates his music.
And yes, this is the most entertaining thing Sketch gets up to now.
After loads of interesting times involving the reaper, raising a family
and just generally being awesome, I think Sketch has earned a rest,
don't you?
14. Besides, there are other people hogging all of the attention.
“Katy! Stop it! I want to dance with Quinn!”
Seriously, Quinn is always dancing with someone – it's usually Duck,
Ethan or Katy. I don't understand why they all pay so much attention to
her!
15. Box spends all of his time at the activity table, instead of with other
people. I don't know why no one pays him any attention.
16. Quinn spent the hour before school standing and staring at the
camera.
Maybe she wasn't getting enough attention, I don't know.
17. Then again, she could have been waiting until she had Box's attention.
“Look at me! Everyone! Guys, you're not looking!”
“I am looking, Quinn!”
19. “Isn't my sister just amazing?!”
Box is adorable, and he gets on great with Quinn.
20. Life at the Super house gets into a repetitive pattern. Katy and Duck
spend all of their time together, though if Katy gets pregnant again, I'm
going to be less than impressed.
But the pair of them are still very much in love.
21. Tiffany spends all of her time with the train set the family got.
Unfortunately, it's not finished – all it has is a mountain.
I think I mentioned that Tiffany bores me.
22. Ethan spends all of his time spying on the family's neighbours. The
only family you can see from that balcony anyway is Goblin's.
Hopefully no one is going to show up to slap this awesome elder.
23. Goopy is still playing his guitar.
“You mean I'm supposed to be doing other things?”
Well, at least he's not getting into trouble, I guess.
24. Sketch has also been musically-minded lately, with help from the
piano.
I suppose that's cool, as she clearly enjoys it. Doesn't make for
entertaining pictures, though.
25. Ethan, however, sometimes takes breaks from being awesome to wait
for attention from Tiffany.
I'm guessing he's the reason Quinn learned about showing off.
26. “School is great! Everyone there is awesome! And I brought home
someone from school!”
If it's Marsha Bruenig, I'm selling the phone.
27. Turns out Quinn brought home her cousin, Gem. I did tell you guys
she was Goblin's daughter, right?
Gem's twin, however, didn't come home with Box.
28. Box didn't bring anyone home. I guess he's content with his sister's
company. Maybe.
29. Quinn paid no attention Gem at all, preferring to dance with Duck, or
show off to various family members.
Box, however, took a break from the drawing table, to hang out with
Gem. They weren't quite friends when Gem left, but it's a start.
30. Ethan and Box have also started getting along. Box hasn't started
showing off like his sister has, so I guess it might not be Ethan's
influence afterall.
Also, I have no idea why Box appears to be missing a chunk of his
head. Hopefully that's fixable.
31. Time to briefly stop in with the spares. Chris and Knight are still living
happily ever after in the old main house.
They make a sweet couple, no?
32. Well, there's been a development since then. Chris got pregnant.
I like the fact her maternity was yellow, so she matched Knight :D
33. Knight continued his family's proud tradition of kareoke.
It's strange that no one on the main lot has used the new kareoke
machine yet. I wonder why.
34. And eventually, this little guy showed up. This is Knight and Chris's
son, Note Jalowitz.
I have no idea where the red hair came from either.
Note is named after a notebook I have on my desk.
(It was a choice of naming him after the notebook, or my white belt
from martial arts.)
35. Back at my simself's house, the population continues to grow.
“Dammit, Vogue, you can't keep Ethan, you know that, right?”
“Just another example of how out-of-control your sims are.”
36. “You'd better hope this kid is awesome and adorable, Vogue, because
the neighbourhood adoption pool is always accepting new kids...”
I've never done that on purpose, and I don't intend to start,
but...population control!
We'll head back to the simself house to meet the babies later.
37. Back at the main house, Quinn was getting more attention. That's
usual.
She interrupted Katy and Duck spending time together. That's no so
usual.
38. Box, however, was pulling adorable faces on the playground
equipment.
The kids don't seem to mind the fact it's snowing. Chills and winter
temperature? No problem! Fun happens anyway!
39. Quinn then decides she wants all of the attention and starts making
adorable faces of her own.
Also, I really like the lighting in the picture. Not sure why.
40. Ethan was also outside that night – insulting Jan Tellerman, it seems.
“Why do you wear such a low cut top in the snow?”
“How dare you notice the lack of modesty in this maxis label outfit!”
“I'm sorry?”
41. With everyone hanging out in the street (Jan left, probably deeply
insulted by Ethan) a penguin thought it was time to come and join in
the fun.
I love the penguin, but sometimes he has scary expressions.
42. Like this expression.
“I can see into your soul.”
I dunno. I've always found the penguin pretty creepy looking.
43. Back at the simself house, Star goes into labour. So excited!
This baby is going to be Sketch's brother or sister, which I find odd.
44. It's a boy! Everyone meet baby Snowdon!
And before anyone asks “How can she have the tallest mountain in
Wales on her desk?”, he's named after a rock I got from the summit of
the mountain of Snowdon, which lives on my desk. I suppose I should
have named him Rock in that case, but Snowdon is better.
I don't know whether I'll shorten it to Snow or Don yet.
45. Moving right along to toddler time – because I'm not in the habit of
taking lots of pictures on the simself lot – here he is as a toddler!
I see both Alan and Star there, and he's adorable.
Speaking of toddlers...
46. This is Ink Super. He's named after a bottle of ink I have on my desk.
He's the son of Vogue and Ethan.
Technically, he's Sketch's cousin, which is weird because she's an
elder and he's a toddler...and Ethan is Ink's father, and Sketch's
adopted elder...I don't know. Small world, I guess.
Still, I took one look at Ink and just couldn't give him up. Look at all of
the adorable and the awesome in him!
47. Everyone else was having kids, so I got curious about Story and
Kennedy's genes. This is their daughter, Angel, named after a glass
angel on my desk.
Following the trend of this baby boom, Angel is also adorable.
48. “Please let there be no more babies!”
That's about it for this time! The next chapter will focus more on the
main line than the spares, I just had to share the adorable this time.
Thanks for reading!
