GGV invests in companies focused on financial inclusion, mobile technology access, and education that serve low-income populations. They have invested in over 100 microfinance institutions reaching 9.5 million clients, mobile banking services for over 1 million unbanked users, and 148 schools financing education for 112,000 students. Going forward, GGV aims to address gaps in capital, demonstrate impact and returns, provide seed funding, and mobilize additional third party capital for early stage ideas.
