4. Film or Documentary?
Pros of a Film Cons of a Film
It is more fun to make a film than a
documentary and more fun to act in
Requires actors/actresses that can
act and fit a role
A film can be seen as more creative
than a documentary
Scouting for a good location may
take longer as well as finding
suitable costumes and props
Can engage young audiences more
than a documentary can
Requires creativity and thorough
planning in order to be made to look
good
Pros of a Documentary Cons of a Documentary
Don’t need to look for any actors to
act in your documentary
Need to research on the topic of
your documentary
It is easier to come up with ideas for
a documentary
Can be seen as boring by younger
audiences
It is informative which can interest
some viewers
Can be boring to make if you are
not passionate about the topic of
your documentary

5. What we decided
As group we decided to make a short film, and we
brainstormed ideas for this film. We also
discussed what our production company name
could be.
We also filled in the production schedule, assigning
tasks which we felt was suitable for us to do and
we also discussed when each of the tasks should
be uploaded on our group blog.
