Brief overview of my thriller opening.
My thriller will be set in a Japanese style high school and it is about strange
event’s that occur every 5 years in a specific classroom (class 3-1). Every 5
years something or someone in the classroom causes the student to be
killed in freak accidents’ or driven to insanity. This “thing” can only kill up
to a maximum of 12 people a year (one person a month) and can be anyone
in the class or their direct family member e.g mother/ brother etc. What
will make this a thriller is the fact that the characters don’t know if they are
going to die, waking up everyday not knowing if they are going to die. Every
time is happens a student who survives records the events in a special
diary that the school logs. Towards the end of the thriller the remaining
survivors work together to figure out what or who was causing this to
occur.
