• Sufficient sleep
• 6 to 8 hours a night by setting an earlier bedtime
• Making time for exercise
• Cardiovascular – 3 times a week
• Strength training – 1 time a week
• Eating consistent healthy snacks/meals every 3 hours
• Taking breaks!
• Notice signs of fatigue when working on long assignments
4. NEXT: YOUR EMOTIONS
• Emotional energy is key
• Express appreciation to your
colleagues, classmates, teachers etc.
• Take a moment to “buy time”
• When your workload becomes too much, take a
second to breath
• Remain positive
• Having a negative outlook on daily tasks can affect
not just yourself, but everyone around you

• Sustain your mental energy by
• Freeing yourself of distractions during work
• Making designated times to respond to
messages
• At night, decide on your most important
challenge/task for the next day and make it
your first priority
