Eastenders is a soap which is about the everyday lives of people.
It is a storyline of different family’s, which usually involves a lot of scandals.
It is set in London in Albert square. The set usually involves the queen vic,
Market, nightclub and the café.
The storyline is structured so that there is a new storyline every week to keep things
exciting. Some times at the end of the month they will have a special serious, about an
hour long. The storyline are usually about the same things and include the same
characters, every now and then putting in new characters or bringing back characters
from the past.
The main characters are Peggy, Phil, Ian beale, Stacy, mo.
Hollyoaks
This is another soap based on the lives of students and family’s.
It is set in Chester. The set usually involves the student bar, the local pub and the high
school.
The main characters are: Mercedes, Cindy, Darren, Carmel ect.
Shameless
Shameless is a TV series about groups of families that are brought up around sex,
drugs and alcohol. The TV series consists of people who don’t work, live in a council
house and benefit claimers. The set is in a fictional Chatsworth estate in Manchester.
The main characters are: Debby, Liam, Carl, frank, Ian, Shane, Mickey and Jamie.
Skins
This is a real life series of teenagers who are wild.
It includes sex drugs alcohol. A group of teenagers who spend their nights, smoking
weed, going to raves, partying all night. It is set in Bristol, south west England. The
series shows us the adventures of them growing up. The series explores issues such
as: promiscuity, dysfunctional families, culture, autism and substance abuse.
The main characters are: Emily, Naomi, Freddy, Pandora, Effy and cook.
