African-American culture on college campuses is an important part of creating an inclusive environment for all students. While many universities have made progress in diversifying their student bodies and curricula, more work remains to be done to support black cultural centers and organizations. Universities should continue listening to black students and addressing their concerns in order to build a true sense of belonging for students from all backgrounds.
