for joining us to celebrate Steve’s 40th Birthday at one of
the Vegas Lodges in Piperdam. The following slides should
provide you with all the information you need, but please
feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions.
Dress is casual all weekend, but feel free to make an extra
effort on Saturday evening.

3. The Nitty Gritty
• All meals will be provided for the cost of £17 per head, to be paid via bank transfer as
before, or paid on the weekend. You will be expected to do your share of cooking and
washing up though!
• There is no WIFI in the lodge, but there is in the clubhouse. Mobile Network access is
limited, so you may wish to leave the Piperdam phone no. with any babysitters
• The lodge has a Sauna and hot tub. During our stay we have full use of the swimming
pool, steam room, sauna and gym at the clubhouse. So remember yer dookers!
• There are no towels provided, remember to take a towel or 2 each!
• There is not too much organised for the weekend, as it will be a chilled out, relaxing
weekend, however there are some activities onsite which are optional, details follow.
• Most important…..Bring Your Own Booze!

5. The Plan…
Friday
• Steve is going to get the train to Dundee so that I can load the car up with
things he doesn’t need to see (yet)!
• The birthday boy is planning a wander round the ‘Wee Piper’ 9 hole golf
course on Friday afternoon if anyone fancies joining him… £12 per 9-hole
round, £8 club hire and £4 trolley hire if you need it. Let me or Steve know
if you do
• We won’t get access to the lodge until 4pm. I am planning on leaving Steve
in the clubhouse until around 5pm until I can get a few decorations up in
the lodge.
• I am assuming people will be arriving at various times during the
afternoon/evening. It will be pizza n’ nibbles on Friday night.
6. Saturday
If you wish to do any of the following activities, let me know ASAP.
1pm Archery - 1hr 30 mins £15
3pm Raft Building (in the pool) - 1hr £8
If anyone is fancying a beauty treatment, we would need to head into Dundee, so
check out The Sunflower Room. But I would suggest this is done in the morning as I
am hoping everyone is up for some raft building, if for nothing else, to see Mr Minty’s
attire!
