Tag Files
Intelligent NAS is a utility developed by Thecus to offer inexperienced users an all-in-one
application to manage and access everything that comes with their NAS. It can run on
Windows as well as on Mac systems and allows the user to have their NAS-system up
and running within 5 minutes. NAS is used for storage and backup of all files from your
other devices (such as PCs, tablet PCs, laptops, and smart phones).
Because finding your required files in a massive data storage server can not always be
easy, Intelligent NAS presents “Tag Files” for users to easily classify and track down
target files. In this guide, we will go step-by-step through the process of using “Tag Files”
and tailoring them to your needs.

Step 2 : There are three labels at the top of Intelligent NAS. Users can manage files
by left clicking on the “Manage & Share” label.
Step 3 : The three marked files above are all related to family. Right click on the
target files and choose “Tag File” to show the “Tag Assignment” page. Enter your tag
name for target files then click “Add” and “Save” at the bottom in this order.
Step 4 : Type the tag name in the search bar and press “Enter”, those files tagged
with this name will show up in the results box.
In addition, because a target file may relate to a number of topics and need to be
searched for by another tag name, “Tag Files” allows user to tag multiple names to a
target file.
