CREATIVITY
Expression on canvas using an oil based project with various dryer's
and extender's in a Large Format Style is an expensive undertaking. I use
unusual tools like an Afro-pick, nine inch nail, combs, brushes, sponges,
and every kitchen utensil within reach. I like background music without
anyone around to influence my mood and palette. I sometimes prepare a
meal at the same time that permeates the studio with delicious aroma's. I
wear my “Beret”, as a final pre-requisite and sometimes dance naked
under the light of a full moon on the Lava Flow near Kalapana, Hawaii.
This is “Art Show From The Lava Flow” and consists of 240 Images
created in Hawaii in the first part of the 21st
Century that are Oil/Canvas
while I struggled to survive and pay the rent, keep a car legal, and eat,
drink, and be merry. I am 65 and have turned my studio into a semi-
gallery with 50 Images hung for viewing. I made an excellent pasta
yesterday, and today I am making Black Beans and Jasmine Rice. I just
made a quart of special “Hot” Sauce with Hawaiian peppers, Mexican
peppers and Filipino peppers, some Horseradish and spices, ginger, lime,
