Maryland Performance
 • Maryland added 10,000 private sector jobs in September

 • Employment growth is at 0.5 percent – a faster clip than the

       0.1 percent for the nation
          o    Federal Government added 2,100 jobs

          o    State Government added 100 jobs

          o    Local Government shed 5,400 jobs


 • Since January, 95 percent of new jobs have been created by

       the private sector
