In 1965 he invented the sport of Heli-skiing and the sport became an instant success. Since its inception, CMH has held environmental awareness and stewardship in the forefront of its decision-making. 3. Galena Lodge CMH already has one micro-hydro system in place at Galena lodge. Project research began in the 90’s but results came back negative. In 2001 however the project resurfaced and was deemed plausible. It took 5 years to implement from start to finish. Project Management Scope -This project will be accounting for the implementation of only one micro hydro project at one lodge. -It will take about five years to implement and cost roughly $1.5 million. -All numbers are calculated in weeks. It has been assumed that one “season” lasts 20 weeks (five months). 7. Project Conclusions: Costs: Benefits: The contingency cost is calculated at 5% to cover sunk cost for the research and 10% for additional resources. Total Cost: $1,725,000 Project will take just over 20 years to pay for itself, assuming some of the contingency costs are recouped.
