Triodent V3 Rings, Wave-Wedges and V3 Tab-Matrices are placed for an MOD on a prepped second premolar.

Clinical Case MOD on second premolar using V3 Universal and Narrow Rings David Winkler, DDS
1 Triodent Wave-Wedges, V3 Tab-Matrices and V3 Rings are placed for an MOD on a prepped second premolar. Once the matrices are secure and the rings have separated the teeth, the back of a curette is used to burnish the contact point. Note the marginal seal.
2 The restoration was filled. Note that the rubber dam clamp does not prevent the Universal (green) V3 Ring from being seated.
3 Completed restoration before finishing – note the lack of flash.
4 Completed restoration after finishing.

  • 1. Clinical Case MOD on second premolar using V3 Universal and Narrow Rings David Winkler, DDS
  • 2. 1 Triodent Wave-Wedges, V3 Tab-Matrices and V3 Rings are placed for an MOD on a prepped second premolar. Once the matrices are secure and the rings have separated the teeth, the back of a curette is used to burnish the contact point. Note the marginal seal.
  • 3. 2 The restoration was filled. Note that the rubber dam clamp does not prevent the Universal (green) V3 Ring from being seated.
  • 4. 3 Completed restoration before finishing – note the lack of flash.
  • 5. 4 Completed restoration after finishing.
