World Music Orchestra “Tundri” was founded in 2004, in Vrbas, Serbia. It
focuses on exploration and development of traditional and folklore music of
Eastern and Central Europe. They combine elements of Serbian and Balkan
folklore with jazz, rock and popular music, to create composed, authorial music
pieces. Created at the boundaries of two different worlds, where East and West,
happiness and sadness are all interwoven, Tundris` music is the result of a
specific, all-encompassing experience of this world and the life in it.
In the beginning, the band consisted of only 3 members, while today
there are 12 different instrument players, women singer group as well as the
Novi Sad Music Academy choir along with their conductor - a professional
soprano Verica Peic. The author of all tracks is Marian Babic, a composer,
educated at London School of Music in Media.
Besides the full band lining we have now formed small sized band arrangement
for traveling and smaler stages playing that have about 10 people.
At now Tundri prepering new project with National theatre and ballet.

3. Rewiews And Media
• This is like a classical piece. Its very revitalizing. The music is even
good for the child to help them improve their minds since they say that
classical music helps the mind improvement among young children. It
is such a good piece to listen to.
• Crazy folk/world music - I like it a lot, lots of different stuff
happening. Interested to find out where you come from.
• This music sounds as though it is played on stringed instruments, and
it has a classical flavour mixed with some Celtic elements. It has a fast
pace and sounds very well played. There is also an experimental feel
with some interesting vocal effects.
• This is a relaxing track for a bleak morning the track has a good and
slow tempo with lyrics that are nice and relacxed in compostion good
effort.
